Kamusta!

Kamusta!

Brett Murray’s “Africa”
I stumbled across this piece on my way to the market one afternoon. This is probably one of my favorite sculptures, even though at times it seems as problematic as it is whimsical.

Anyways, kamusta, Team Dhaka! I’m looking forward to optimizing our prototype and running those spiffy water quality tests. And I’m excited to gain insight from you all about what it takes to carry out a development project that is both culturally sensitive as it is successful from an engineer’s perspective.

Fun fact: I like corn & cheese-flavored ice cream. It’s a rare but delicious find in Asian supermarkets. 🙂
