Banny Banerjee

I thought Banny’s talk on design thinking was very insightful.  I especially was intrigued by Banny’s argument that problems are just as undefined as solutions.  I usually view the world as having these set problems and we just need to find the solutions but Banny suggested that finding the real problem to solve is a task all on its own.  I think this applies to our project – we think the problem is finding a cheap way to chlorinate water, but the real underlying problem is getting the people of Dhaka to recognize the importance and benefit of chlorinated water.
